Description
M=Minimal is a new label from Berlin that focusses on minimal music in any form. For their first release they chose to reissue Conrad Schnitzler’s legendary “Zug”, which is by some believed to be in the same category as Kraftwerk’s “Autobahn”. Schnitzler, who is one of the key figures in the German electronic music scene, founded great bands like Tangerine Dream and Kluster, but left them right before they became successful. After that he released countless of recordings, often issued as private pressings, such as The Red Cassette, where “Zug” first appeared on. The over twenty minutes long piece is remastered and comes with two new remixes by Pole and Borngräber & Strüver.
